Last year’s Old Florida Celebration Of The Arts would have been the 56th annual event had it not been cancelledannounced. But now it will be back between 10 am and 5 pm on Saturday, April 17, and on Sunday from 10 to 4 pm. The festival will again be along historic 2nd Street. This will be our third time at this event. The last time we were in Cedar Key, Nancy received an awardblog.
This year, the booths will be in the center of 2nd Street, alternating between facing north and facing south. Traffic on each side of 2nd Street is supposed to be one-way. We will be in Booth 65, between B and A Streets, hopefully facing north. It will be a smaller festival, with fewer than 90 artists (compared to 120 artists last time). There may be artist demonstrations and some seafood & homemade goodies. But no music, children’s art activities, or pets will be allowed this year. Masks and social distancing will be expected. Check out their website (www.cedarkeyartsfestival.com) for more information (as it becomes available).
(For a picture of Nancy at the last festival, go to Past Festivals (on their vertical menu) ⇒ 2019. Go to their Photo & Video Gallery for the larger version. It will be the ninth photo in the slideshow (or the sixth little circle from the right).)
